Tod’s had an impressive presentation of their SS2014 collection, and at the show that day, there were some firsts. First, this Spring Summer 2014 is the first collection for creative director Alessandra Facchinetti (who left her position at Pinko for one of my favorite Italian bag brands), and second, Tod’s usually has shows every season but this was the first time that they had a show. And both first ones were a resounding success.
The collection was very well celebrated by all: the shirts, skirts, belts and bags received the stamps of approval from fashion experts. Here are some of the shots from the new version, to give you a clearer picture of the bags and shoes. I’ll be uploading pictures from the show in a separate post 🙂
Alessandra Facchinetti is definitely a perfect fit for Tod’s!
The new D cube! It comes in 3 sizes. And of course also in exotic skins if you want to go super luxurious. I find periwinkle/lilac with gray very very attractive! That D Cube baby is too precious!
The Sella bag in different sizes, color combinations as well as with different embellishments/embroideries
I love these gommini with fringes. The belt buckle on the sides adds a nice detail. They are so pretty up close. And we all know how comfortable these shoes are!
The decorated Sella bags
Facchinetti also designed heeled sandals with fringes
The Sella bag with fringes. Fringes seem to be a popular style for spring-summer 2014. And there are also gommini-cross strap ballerinas!
Facchinetti also worked with neutral palettes for Spring Summer 2014.
Such a beautiful collection, I especially loved the belts and those laser cut leather skirts! More details on clothing soon!
What bag/s do you love? 🙂
